St Stephen & St Agnes Church

Making God's Love Known In Windsor

We are supported entirely by the generosity of the congregation, local community, and visitors. The money you give will go towards the work and mission of the church and other causes as determined by the parochial church council (members of the local congregation who have been elected to serve by the church). The church supports (financially and by accommodating) the Homeless Project by hosting a homeless lunch every Saturday, and the Creative CORE project who offer vulnerable and disadvantaged young people creative opportunities to explore, gain, and showcase new skills.

We are very grateful to all who support St Stephen and St Agnes through financial gifts, and are also grateful to those who support us with their time and talent.

A collection is taken at the Sunday service, and you can put cash into the collection bag as it comes round. If you are UK tax payer, then we urge you to use a yellow Gift Aid envelope which is located at the end of every pew. Using the Gift Aid form allows us to claim back the tax paid on your donation, increasing the value of your donation by 25% at no additional cost to you. The conditions of the Gift Aid scheme are printed on the envelope.

Regular giving

Regular giving to support the ministry and mission of the Church is an important part of the spiritual life and of Christian discipleship. A standing order also allows us to plan our church activities more effectively. If you wish to give regularly to the church, and you are a UK taxpayer, then we ask you to use the Gift Aid form below. If you use this form, then this allows the church to claim back from the government the tax you have paid on your donation, which increases the value of donation by 25% at no additional cost to you.

Particular Gifts

If you wish to make a particular gift to the church in memory of a loved one, or to commemorate a special event, please speak to a member of the clergy, who will be happy to have a conversation about possible suitable gifts.

The restoration of the organ was undertaken entirely thanks to a very generous legacy. Leaving a legacy in your Will to St Stephen and St Agnes is relatively simple and, because the Church is recognised as a Charity, any gift to the Church is free of Inheritance tax. Your legacy might be expressed as I give the sum of x pounds to the Church of St Stephen and St Agnes, Windsor or I give y% of the residue of my estate to the Church of St Stephen and St Agnes, Windsor. Either contact the Treasurer (details below) or talk with the lawyer, drawing up your Will.
